“Communication skills are an essential component in the education of engineering

students to facilitate not just students’ education but also to prepare them for their

future careers.”

As engineers, our brilliant ideas and hard work will be all for naught if they are left unheard. Effective communication is crucial as it allows people to voice their opinions, enables collaboration and thus allowing us to improve on our work. Having strong communication skills is just as important as having the technical knowledge behind our study.
